Reviews
GROSS!!! Went on 8/26 for the breakfast buffet. First of all I have not been here since before the pandemic, but decided to go and give it another try. As I walked up to the door, there was a smell of throw up, kind of like at a bar that does not promote cleanliness. Once I walked in, I could smell the restrooms that definitely have a septic issue. This place smells and looks unclean.. buffet bar was dirty and staff was pretty rude, when you mentioned to them there were food items that needed to be restocked. Tortillas are pre-made and hard. For a family of 4 and 1 kid, the price was 85 dollars. Too much to eat in a place that smells like a backed up toilet. Pass real hard on this one!!!! However, if you like eating breakfast in place that smells like a dirty restroom, go before 10am, by 1030 the buffet changes almost entirely to lunch.
This restaurant has a Mexican breakfast buffet on weekends and it was really delicious! From Mexican pastries, to menudo and barbacoa, there's a little bit of everything. They also have an option to have your own omelet made. I didn't have enough stomach room to eat everything!! The staff was very friendly and professional! Love this place!
Great place! Ordered sampler platter and everything on it was delicious!!! It really was! Split that with Hubby and ordered us each a drink. Only cost $30! It was plenty for the two of us! Oh and you have to order a side of their green sauce...its amazing!
I found this place while doing a vendor market in the area. When I pulled into the parking lot I saw it was pretty packed which is always a good sign. Walking in a saw the sign for a breakfast buffet (note: I was there on a Saturday so not sure if the do it everyday). Didn't have to time to enjoy cause I had to get back to the market. But I did get a baxon/cheese/egg/potatoe and also a beef fajita that was tender and flavorful.
There's always strange when you walk into a restaurant and there are two tables with people at them, and the restaurant can hold 176 people. Surprisingly though, this is a gem in the rough, not quite a diamond but the food and staff are good. The salsa has a good flavor, not spicy, and the enchiladas are great. The charro beans are good as well, a lot of restaurant mess up the beans. If you're ever on this side of town, stop on by, you might find a new restaurant with your wild.
Ecstatically, the place has not changed since I've been there years ago. I was in the area and stopped by to grab dinner with the family and as I remembered years ago, the food is still really good. Great work on being consistent with the service and food.
I had been there in the past but had not taken the time to review. The place is a bit old with uneven floor and older style tables that give the place a shabby feel. In the past, it was always a taco or something small so that we could drink a few drinks. Tonight we felt like eating a good meal so we decided to skip the drinks and order two meals. We ordered the sizzling fajitas for one and a carne guisada plate. The chips were pretty good although the salsa was real salty. When the drinks arrived they were flat. When the food arrived we were pleased at how well it looked on the plates. However, the taste lacked luster. I don't know how you go wrong with fajitas but they tasted like liquid smoke and a few other herbs that made it have and odd bland taste. I got to taste the carne guisada and that meat also tasted old and unseasoned. To top it off the tortillas I got were half burnt and stale. I think the best part of the meal was the service. They want to refill your drinks and make sure you have a good experience but it's hard when it's just not there food wise. The menu needs shortening and for their prices better quality. Give it a try and let me know if I'm being to harsh. I almost gave it 3 stars because of the service was excellent.
It was my first time I have eaten here and definitely my last. Due to strict diets, I ordered chicken soup. What I got was terrible. I had a half boiled chicken, chicken stock and vegetables cooked in a different pot and all added together. It was disgusting 🤮.
The pictures are worth a thousand words but not on the positive side.
